[6:00 AM] MACWORLD Expo - Purity Software Gives Away $$$Thousands$$$ at MACWORLD
by Staff
Purity Software is holding a raffle offering MACWORLD Expo SF attendees a chance to win over US$3,000 worth of prizes, including full versions of the popular web application development tool WebSiphon and WebSentinal. According to Purity:
Commotion's Motion Tracker is now the world's fastest tracker. Using a Power Mac G4 you can experience speed anywhere from 2.5 to 16 times faster than previous versions, depending on the accuracy of the selected track. The RGB and HLS Color Filters also take advantage of the Power Mac G4. Color adjustments can now be made in no time at all. These accelerated filters will also be added to Commotion DV.
Commotion 2.2 also addresses requests by both Mac and Windows NT users to enhance features such as the ability to retouch mattes with the FX Brush; control b-spline tightness; and export non-square pixel aspect ratio. Commotion's popular FX Brush now works in the alpha channel allowing sub-pixel painting for retouching. Infinite variable tension controls on b-splines allow the user to interactively change the tightness of a spline. Also, Commotion now supports non-square aspect ratio export to Adobe After Effects&Mac250;.
