[Show Floor] MACWORLD Expo - From the Show Floor, Day 3 - Traffic Winding Down, Gaming Championships See Light Attendance
by Bryan Chaffin
The crowds have thinned somewhat from the opening two days of the Expo, but they are still strong. We continue to see large crowds at all the major booths. Of particular popularity are the informational demonstrations and how-tos. The Microsoft booth has consistently been packed.
Vendors throughout the show have reported brisk sales, big crowds, and the consensus seems to be that this may be one of the most successful MACWORLD Expos in many years.
On a negative note, we have seen that the National Mac Gaming Championships have not been as packed as they were at MACWORLD New York. This is curious considering the fact that there are more new games out for the Mac now than at any time in recent years.
Still, gaming vendors have been absolutely delighted with the show, and the gaming booths have been packed with attendees.
The Mac Observer Spin: We need to wait for official numbers from the Expo management, but from our observations this has been a great show.
