Public Access Software is holding a contest providing registered users of Sherlock Menu a chance to win a Palm VII or RIO 500. Sherlock Menu allows access to Sherlock through the Mac OS Contextual Menus option. Version 3.03 has also been released, which addresses a problem with the control panel. According to Public Access:
Public Access Software would like to reach at least 2000 "registered" users of Sherlock Menu in the Year 2000.
To help encourage users who are not using Sherlock Menu or may not have registered yet we will be giving away one of two prizes to a single randomly selected registered user of Sherlock Menu.
When the total number of registered users reaches 2000 a drawing will be held and a winner announced. The winner will be able to choose from either a Palm IIIx or a RIO 500 MP3 player as their prize, as a thank you just for using and registering Sherlock Menu!
This contest is open to all currently registered users of Sherlock Menu as well as anyone who purchases the software before 12/31/2000 at 12 midnight MST.
Sherlock Menu 3.0.3 fixes a problem in the Control Panel component that would cause a crash (of the control panel) if a debugger was not installed under certain circumstances, rendering it useless.
