[6:00 AM] A Jet? Ha! How About A Space Shuttle For Gates?
by Staff

In a brilliant bit of satire, David Bunnell of Upside Today has penned a little article called "Gates Gets Space Shuttle." In this article, Mr. Bunnell outline Microsoft's announcement that the company had purchased a Space Shuttle for Bill Gates. But hey, it's a complete coincidence this came the day after Apple's Board awarded a Gulfstream V to Steve Jobs. Note this is a humor (and fictional) piece and the disclaimer at the end makes it even more funny. It is still a very enjoyable read that we recommend to any red blooded Machead.

Our favorite passage from this short piece:

Bill Gates thus becomes the first person on earth to own a space shuttle. "This will really make it easier for me to get away from it all without having to go through customs or deal with ordinary people," Gates said. He will reportedly be using the shuttle for "reading and thinking breaks" and for family outings.

We offer a big Mac Observer Salute to Mr. Bunnell!
