[2:15 PM] Fletcher And Faraday Reiterate Buy Rating For AAPL
by Staff

Investment firm Fletcher and Faraday have reiterated their recommendation on Apple today, which is a Buy. The company cited sales figures from Apple's first fiscal quarter in their announcement. According to Fletcher and Faraday:

Apple Computer: We are continuing coverage with a BUY rating. The company reported selling 1,350,000 Macs in the quarter, which works out to one Mac every six seconds.

Fletcher and Faraday are broker dealers. Apple is trading slightly lower, down 1/4 at 112 as of press time.

The Mac Observer Spin: Reiterations are not that big a deal in the financial world unless they come at a time of turmoil. In this case, the company issued a whole slew of reiterations, but we were intrigued by their choice of wording. It reads almost like an Apple press release, but is very positive in any event. It is always a good thing when the public has Apple as a "Buy" in their faces.
