Ambrosia Software has announced that they have shipped out the first batch of Ferazel's Wand CDs. Ferazel's Wand is the latest release from the company and promises to be one of the most exciting game releases from the company yet. According to Ambrosia Software:
Ambrosia Software, Inc. shipped yesterday the first batch of CDs for Ferazel's Wand, the exciting action game written by Ben Spees. The CDs, which came directly from the replicator this morning, moved as quickly as Ambrosia's staffers could stuff them into envelopes. Ambrosia's greatest game ever is finally shipping on its own CD-ROM.
Ferazel's Wand puts you inside the cloak of Ferazel, the last of the free habnabits. Jump, cast spells, and travel to the reaches of Teraknorn, enhancing your skill and learning new spells along the way. Xichra is waiting for Ferazel in her lair - only with strength, wisdom, and experience (and this CD-ROM) can she be vanquished.
Hiding underneath the excellent game play is a highly advanced graphics engine, using such special effects as multi-layered parallax scrolling, and advanced particle graphics. Additionally, the game sports nearly 2000 frames of high-resolution hand-drawn animation, and a pulse-quickening, awe-inspiring soundtrack of 30 songs composed by veteran musician Eric Speier.
Ferazel's Wand supports many popular joysticks, keyboards, and game controllers via Apple's InputSprocket. Running best on all iMacs (including the new iMac DV) and other G3 and G4 machines, Ferazel's Wand requires a PowerPC-equipped Macintosh with 32 MB of RAM. Ferazel's Wand ships on a CD-ROM available from Ambrosia Software's web site.
