Pix & Mix, fresh on the heels of the US release of FutureBASIC^3, has announced the immediate availability of a French version, with other "localized" versions to follow. According to Pix & Mix:
Pix & Mix distributors of FutureBASIC II in France have now undertaken the localization of FB^3, as well as distribution in the European Community.
Currently the French version is available, German and Italian versions are in the pipeline.
"We're really happy to have finished this project right on time with the US release and allow the active French programming community access to the great new features of FB^3" says Alain Pastor, head of the localization team. Not only have the Editor and Compiler been completely localized, but also all sample code, Manuals and PG:PRO, the FB^3 GUI builder.
French FB^3 is identical in features to the US version, nothing was lost in the localization process!
The European CD includes the US version.
A one-year subscription to the localized version is available at 199 euros. You can find more information at the FutureBASIC^3 web site.
