[5:20 PM] Team Mac Observer Needs Your PowerMac G4s, SETI@home 2.0 Client Released
by Staff

Team Mac Observer, our Top 20 SETI@home Club Team, needs your PowerMac G4s. We are still solidly in command of the #20 spot in the Top 100 Club Teams, but the team right below us is The Maximum PC Team. Maximum PC is the sister magazine to MacAddict, and a formidable opponent. Since more than 350,000 PowerMac G4s have been shipped, it is about time we have more of them join Team Mac Observer, so that we may permanently crush Maximum PC! :-)

In other news, version 2.0 of the SETI@home client has been released. This version protects against unauthorized patches and includes some performance enhancements. We ask all Team members to update to version 2.0 as soon as possible.

If you need more information on the SETI@home project, read all about it.

We have also updated our Roster and the Top 10 Fastest, and Top 10 Most Completed Units stats.
