[6:00 AM] TextWorks Works With Text (And HTML)
by Staff
MacZ Software has released their latest version of the text/HTML editor, TextWorks Office. Version 2.0 includes a number of enhancements to the original product, including a calculator feature and the ability to export to a number of popular text processing programs. According to MacZ Software:
MacZ Software has rolled out TextWorks Office 2.0, the newest version of their shareware text editor, which has also an HTML editor in it. New features in version 2.0 include three built-in accessories; note pad, calculator, and advanced calculator. The ability to export documents in HTML, RTF, Word, MacWrite II, MacWrite Pro, ClarisWorks/AppleWorks and SimpleText formats, and even in one totally new format, TextWorks Stand-Alone, which saves the document into the form of a stand-alone application. TextWorks Office 2.0 is also capable of sending documents to recipients via e-mail right from the application itself, so you do not need to use a separate e-mail client software to do that any more. TextWorks Office can also open picture files, and edit clipping files. A complete list of new features and bug fixes is available at TextWorks Office home page.
TextWorks Office is available for US$10. Registered users of version 1.5 or later may upgrade for free. You can find more information at the MacZ Software web site.
