[12:00 PM] New OmniPDF Beta For OS X Released

OmniPDF 4.0 beta 2 is a full featured Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format(PDF) file viewer for Mac OS X. According to the company:

This new release brings support for Mac OS X DP4, and now uses Apple's indexed colorspace code, so more indexed color images work.

It allows you to search the text of PDF files; to select, copy, and save text; and supports hypertext links, bookmarks, thumbnails, and annotations.

OmniPDF is available for free download. This beta release includes a 250-user license which expires on August 1, 2000. Final pricing has not yet been determined. You can find more information at the Omni Group web site.
