Aladdin has announced that the next generation of their software installer, Installer Maker, is now shipping. This version adds greater USB support., including the automatic installation of necessary USB drivers. According to Aladdin:
Aladdin Systems today announced that the private release of StuffIt InstallerMaker(tm), version 6.5.2, is now available as golden master to the public at large. The latest version of InstallerMaker takes advantage of the USB Software Locator in Mac OS(9) 9 which provides for automatic installation of USB drivers.
