[Updated 11:50 AM] Roger Ebert Joins Mac Luminaries Gather To Celebrate Don Crabb On The Mac Show [updated]
by Staff
Update: Shawn King has notified us that Roger Ebert, famed film critic and friend to Don Crabb, will join the other journalists noted below in tonight's Mac Show. It's good to have friends. :-)
A gathering of some of big names in the Mac community is commencing this evening on The Mac Show to celebrate Don Crabb's life. Don Crabb, long time Mac pundit, dies this past weekend. The Mac show is among the many Mac media outlets to offer tribute to Mr. Crabb, but this show should be among the best as it features Bob Levitus, Chris Breen, and Andy Ihnatko. Roy McDonald, CEO of Connectix, will also appear. According to the Mac Show.
The Macintosh Community lost a great friend this week.
Don Crabb would have hated it but Bob Levitus, Chris Breen and Andy Ihnatko will be on The Mac Show this Wednesday to celebrate Don's all too short life.
Don would have understood the sentiment that "The Show Must Go On," so we will also have our regular TechTips segment, sponsored by TechTool Pro. This week, Ted Landau of the MacFixIt Web Site will join us.
It's been a busy couple of weeks for Roy McDonald, the CEO of Connectix. he'll join us to discuss what's been going on with Virtual GameStation, lawsuits and VirtualLinux.
John Purillo, Director of Engineering for Qualcomm's Eudora mail program will tell us all about the newest Eudora and how it has changed for the better.
We also welcome our user Group Correspondent, Chuck Joiner, who is on every month to tell us what's going on in the world of UG's!
Peter Cohen of MacGaming (http://www.macgaming.com) joins us every week to give us the latest on the Mac Games Market and we'll have T-shirts from About.com and Redhook to give away.
Make sure you tune in this and every Wednesday evening for the most fun you'll have listening to your Mac! And "double your pleasure, double your fun" by joining us in our Chat Rooms on the World Without Borders site at http://www.wwbchat.com or join us on the dal.net servers on IRC in the #themacshow Channel.
Tune in to The Mac Show tonight. You can find more information at the Show's web site.
The Mac Observer Spin: This should be a really great show. Bob Levitus and Andy Ihnatko are among the funniest people alive. Though their task is a somber one, they will likely make it into a fitting tribute (i.e. one that is entertaining and fun) to Mr. Crabb. If you have not tuned into The Mac Show yet, this is the one to try!
