[8:00 AM] Dumping PCs With An Attitude In Seattle Times "Classified Ads" Ad
by Staff
The Seattle Times has a great sense of humor... and some good taste in computers. Observer Herman sent us an add from the Seattle Times that surely annoys the Wintel heavy city near Microsoft's headquarters. The newspaper has been running an ad since late last year according to Herman, that offers a none-too-subtle poke at Windows and a plug for the iMac at the same time. The ad:

The Mac Observer Spin: This is too much fun. This is even more fun than the press release Microsoft recently ran touting the choice between Windows 2000 and greater reliability, a choice most of you reading this article made long ago. With Microsoft being so close, much of that area is not too surprisingly very pro-Wintel. A gutsy move by some Mac loving folks at The Seattle Times, to be sure.
You can pick up a copy of the Seattle Times at a bunker near you. Thanks to Observer Herman for writing in about this!
