[6:00 AM] Sonnet Reports CPU Price Droppings

Sonnet Technologies announced price drops for its line of G3 processor upgrades. Prices have been lowered up to 20% on these cards. According to Sonnet:

Sonnet's new lower prices are as follows:

  • Crescendo G3/PCI 266/512K $179.95 (was $199.95)
  • Crescendo G3/PCI 300/512K $199.95 (was $249.95)
  • Crescendo G3/PCI 333/512K $249.95 (was $299.95)
  • Crescendo G3/PCI 350/1M $299.95 (was $349.95)
  • Crescendo G3/L2 400/1M $399.95 (was $499.95)
  • Crescendo G3/L2 500/1M $599.95 (was $699.95)

Sonnet Metronome Every Sonnet processor upgrade includes the Metronome Profiler Utility software, giving users useful system performance information such as processor type, speed, and bus speed.
