Subband Software has released the a new version of their media player, AMP Radio. Version 1.6.5 offers improved features, including a 10-band equalizer. Subband is also offering a limited time promotion. According to Subband Software:

AMP Radio still plays the following file formats: MP3, MP2, , HTTP MPEG Streams, SHOUTCast Streams, Icecast Streams, AIFF/WAVE, Live Input, IT, XM, S3M, MTM, MOD, PlaySID, QuickTime Streams and Files(Experimental), RealAudio Streams and Files(Experimental), CD Audio, .m3u, and MIDI files!
AMP Radio is also the only Shoutcast player on the Mac to show Now Playing information, letting the user know exactly what he/she is listening to over streams.
Additionally, Subband released the AMP Radio plugins SDK, to allow third party programmers to create input plugins(to support new audio formats), DSP plugins(sound processing/FX) and output plugins(AIFF Writer, etc.)!
