[11:00 AM] Applelinks Adds Full Mac Gaming Coverage by Staff Applelinks just opened a new section of its site, games.applelinks.com. The section focuses on gaming news and reviews. According to Applelinks: The launching of the gaming section coincides with the First Annual Applelinks Moofie Awards. The Moofie has been created to recognize achievement in the burgeoning field of Macintosh gaming. Four nominees have been selected in twelve categories, the winners of which will be determined by public vote. Applelinks visitors can cast their votes until May 31st, and all voters are automatically entered to win one of many game related prizes. "Considering the explosion of gaming options available to Mac users these days, we at Applelinks wanted to offer our gaming visitors the multitude of links and information that we're known for," stated Kirk Hiner, senior editor of Macintosh game news and reviews at Applelinks.
