by Staff
Chronos L.C. has announced the release of Personal Organizer and Group Organizer 3.03. These two are the respective successors to the Consultant and Office Consultant managers. the updates include Open Transport networking capabilities. According to Chronos:
Chronos calls the popular Consultant the "Swiss Army Knife" of productivity software. It integrates a calendar, address book, word processor, memo taker, personal journal, phone dialer, and alarm clock into a single easy-to-use application. To top it off, it synchronizes with both the PalmPilot and the new Handspring Visor handheld organizers.
Group Organizer 3.03 is now the first Mac client/server PIM to support native Open Transport networking. Users may access their calendar, contacts, memos and to-dos over an AppleTalk network or a TCP/IP network including the Internet. This means you can synchronize your Palm connected organizer over the Internet. Personal and Group Organizer 3.03 also receive a slew of minor enhancements and bug fixes.
Personal Organizer costs US$49.99 (US$59.99 with manual). Group Organizer costs US$99.99 each (US$109.99 with manual). A free 250 page electronic download manual is also available. You can find more information about the Organizers at Chronos' site.
