[8:00 AM] Tess Receives A Makeover...In French
by Staff
Pedagoguery Software has updated their math assistant product, Tess. Version 1.02 allows users to easily draw symmetrical diagrams, helping with instruction of basic mathematical principles. According to Pedagoguery:
Changes since the previous version:
A French interface is now available.
Some balloon help on how to use the tool window has been added.
A zoom box has been added to the View window.
Other bug fixes and minor improvements to make the program more in line with Apple interface guidelines.
With Tess, you can quickly create attractive symmetric planar illustrations. While you draw, Tess will automatically maintain the symmetry group you have chosen; 11 rosette, all 7 frieze, and all 17 wallpaper groups are included. Illustrations may be saved using Tess own cross-platform format or printed out using your own inkjet or laser printer.
Tess is available for US$36. You can find more information at the Pedagoguery Software web site.
