[2:00 PM] Green Dragon Launches Joke E-mail List, But We're Not Sure They Should Have...
by Staff

Green Dragon Creations has just launched a "joke e-mail" service, though we aren't sure why. Subscribing provides you with a new joke every week. According to Green Dragon:

"Why did the monkey fall out of the tree?" typed Jason Whong, Assistant Product Manager and All-Around Nice Guy, as he fired up the list, and sent the first test joke to its 3 tester recipients. "Because he was dead!" he continued. One tester reported falling out of her chair, and landing on her dog, which promptly bit her. The other two testers thought the joke was mildly funny, and forwarded it to their friends.

"This is cool. Maybe nobody will notice that we missed the ideal launch date, April Fool's Day, by a whole month and a half," said Software Sculptor Howard Shere. "But then again, we are a software publisher, so a delay like this is to be expected."

Approximately once a week, you'll receive a funny joke, suitable for printing, framing, forwarding, or just plain old-fashioned deletion.

Another feature is "reader submission", which allows readers to send their favorite funny jokes to sendmejokes@greendragon.com. The funniest ones will be sent to the list for all to enjoy!

You can find subscription information at Green Dragon's site.

The Mac Observer Spin: Jason is one of our favorite personalities in the Mac gaming industry, and we wish Green Dragon the best of luck with their new list, despite our jibes in the article. :-)

And what's up with the joke in the first paragraph?
