[12:30 PM] Apple Designs Awards: The Results Are Out

Apple has announced the winners of the Apple Designs awards. The categories were best Apple technology adoption, best new product, most innovative entry, best Mac user interface and best Mac user experience. According to Apple:
Announced Tuesday evening at Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference, the winners for Apple Design Awards 2000 are Thinking Home, Math Mysteries: Measurement, REALbasic, ViaVoice and LiveStage Professional.
Candidates expected the big prize to be a Power Mac G4 with a 17 monitor, but were surprised when it was announced that the winners for each of the four categories would instead win a top-of-the-line G4 and the Apple Cinema Display.

Best New Product: ViaVoice(tm) Millennium Edition, IBM
