DXoft has released Software & Hardware Tracker 3.3.7, an update to its FileMaker Pro relational database. The update improves performance and fixes bugs. According to DXoft:
Software & Hardware Tracker is a collection of FileMaker Pro 3.0/4.0 relational database which will help you collect, store and organize useful information (such as registration codes, serial numbers, product notes, etc.) about all your computer products (hardware and software). Relying on the standard Internet Config system, Software & Hardware Tracker is integrated with your other Internet software. It also keeps track of all your contact information for software and hardware developers, distributors and places of purchase, turning it into a powerful contact and Internet bookmark manager.
Main changes in version 3.3.7:
Modified the date format used in some fields to correct display problems.
Modified a couple of scripts to make them more efficient.
Included one more topic in the Troubleshooting section of the manual to discuss an issue affecting Purchase IDs' calculations.
Modified a value list in the Purchase Tracker to help work around that issue.
Software & Hardware Tracker is compatible with FileMaker Pro 5 once converted to the new version's file format. The conversion happens automatically when one opens Software & Hardware Tracker using FileMaker Pro 5 or later.
All Software & Hardware Tracker 3.x users should download this free update.
