Richard Wellman has updated his Russian tutorial teaching program, Verbs and Nouns Russisch to version 2.2. The new version helps users learn the Russian language, and is closely integrated with Mr. Wellman's Toolkit Reader program. According to Mr. Wellman:
Changes in Verbs and Nouns Russisch v. 2.2 compared to v. 2.1 include: totally revised handbook (German), new layout; adjective-database from letter "a" to letter "na" completely revised, thousands of new examples added; inflection-rules completely revised, now including short-forms; approximately. 50 new sounds for adjectives; new vocabulary in nouns-database; more than 200 new PhotoDisc®-pictures and more than 200 new sounds; all other databases added to (new vocabulary and examples); introduced 2nd V&N Lookup- dictionary to solve "je"/"jo"-problem with Russian texts.
Dictionaries include approximately. 21.000 Russian words, 800 professional-quality pictures and more than 1.200 sounds, 300.000 derived forms, over 100.000 German translations, thousands of examples, phrases and sayings.
Verbs and Nouns Russisch is intended to help the user deal with new vocabulary with lessons of the "Toolkit Reader"-program, study vocabulary, to look up Russian words in text, spell-checking and word-by- word-translation Russian/German. The user may add new vocabulary, examples, sounds and pictures, to im- and export vocabulary, update and merge dictionaries.
