[9:00 AM] Ladies And Gentlemen, Live From "The Pit"...Everything!
by Staff

No plans this Memorial Day weekend? Tune in with Ampcast for a webcast of the band, Everything, from North Carolina's, The Pit. The Pit is a popular beach club in NC, and will be celebrating the long weekend with some live music. According to Ampcast:

Ampcast.com, a leading provider of online music entertainment, will webcast Virginia based band Everything live from The Pit in Kill Devil Hills, NC, on May 26th and 27th. The webcast will showcase the latest technology for high quality Internet broadcasting via the web site.

The Pit, a hugely popular beach club servicing Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina, has just finished renovating its location. To celebrate the reopening, The Pit is having two Memorial weekend live music shows, featuring the band Everything as the headliner. Everything, which has developed a large national following, was a natural choice to showcase the newly renovated venue. Everything is best known for their successful "Super Natural" album that was released in 1998 and produced the breakthrough single "Hooch".

Ampcast.com uses new technologies from Apple Computer, Inc. and Lucent Technologies, Inc. to deliver high quality Internet audio and video webcasts on location. Ampcast.com will have stationary web cams streaming the show in addition to a mobile camera on the floor allowing online viewers to experience the show as if they were actually there.

The show web cast will be available May 26th and 27th, starting at 9:00 PM EST. You can find more information about Ampcast, and this weekend's web cast, at the Ampcast web site.
