[9:00 AM] Fund Raising Organizational Software Updated
by Staff
Anybody that has ever tried it is aware, but fund raising can be a hassle in the truest sense of the word. However, the latest version of FUNDimensions can help. Version 3.1 allows users to track individual interests, coordinate thank you notes, and take care of all the other "little" things that go into fund raising. According to Frank Martin, President of FUNDimensions:
FUNDimensions 3.1 is now available. This version of the fundraising software features new graphs for analysis of individual donor interests, and better handling of memorial and in-the-name-of gifts through the generation of 2nd thank you notes to the designated donors. For multiple gifts to the same named donor, the amounts and contributor names can be summed, merged and exported so a single acknowledgment can be sent. There are also new commands to switch address assignments by batch, and support for tracking gifts in the form of stocks, bonds and real estate. In addition to features above, which appeared in the preview, the final release offers:
1. Currency symbol/ISO code reassignment for use with any national currency. All windows, menus and reports will use the symbol or 3-letter code entered by the user.
2. A new Show By Count command appears to facilitate selection of the correct records for printing, exporting and other operations.
3. Finally, the Rank by... sorting commands introduced in version 3.0 have been optimized for use in the client-server version, with speed increases of 400-500%.
FUNDimensions is available for US$1,595. You can find more information at the FUNDimensions web site.
