[9:00 AM] Dr. Bott Bundles ProFormance 3 Card With MoniSwitch Pro LDI by Staff Dr. Bott has announced that they will be bundling the ProFormance 3 video accelerator with the company's MoniSwitch Pro LDI. The ProFormance 3 video card from Formac offers 2D and 3D acceleration for your Mac, while the MoniSwitch Pro LDI allows Mac users to SGI's 1600SW flat panel displays and USB peripherals between USB computers. The company has also begun shipping the MoniSwitch Pro LDI and the MoniSwitch Pro 8. According to Dr. Bott: Dr. Bott recently began shipping its MoniSwitch Pro LDI which allows sharing of Silicon Graphics Inc.'s 1600SW flat panel display and USB peripherals between up to 4 computers. Formac's ProFormance 3 video cards with LVDS flat panel module offer the best way to add support for the 1600SW to any PCI Macintosh computer. Formac ProFormance 3 video cards are available in 3 configurations 16 MB (same as ships with the 1600SW), 16 MB plus, and 32 MB Plus. MoniSwitch Pro LDI with ProFormance 3 video cards with SGI LVDS module are shipping today. Dr. Bott is also pleased to announce MoniSwitch Pro 8 which allows the sharing of monitor and USB peripherals between up to eight computers. MoniSwitch Pro LDI costs US$399, ProFormance 3 models range from US$289 to US$449 and MoniSwitch Pro 8 sells for US$399.
