Contour Completes Rainbow With Banana UniMouse
Contour Design has announced a 6th color in it's line of USB 3-button mice. Banana joins the other colors of Banana, Blueberry, Grape, Lime, and Tangerine. Banana (or lemon depending on who you ask) has been the one color that we have heard people ask for in the iMac line, which the UniMouse is designed to match. The Mac Observer will be bringing you a review of the UniMouse next week

The Mac Observer Spin: Apple should have released a yellow iMac. If they had to leave out a color (keeping it to 5) then they should have done yellow instead of Tangerine. Mac Observer staff has often theorized about this, and seeing the pictures of the Banana UniMouse from Contour just reaffirms our own armchair CEO decision that Yellow is good. Of course, Apple marketing may have been concerned about releasing anything that could be joked about as being a Lemon (the Banana UniMouse color is much closer to lemon yellow than Banana Yellow), and that is a very valid concern. Picture the headlines "Apple Releases Lemon." If you are one of the thousands of iMac fans wanting a yellow unit, grab the Banana UniMouse and pretend. :-)

Perhaps Apple will see this product and realize the error of their ways and release a Banana iMac.
