Tweak Out The Appearance Manager With AppearanceHopper
Weedhopper Press has released the latest version of AppearanceHopper, bringing the utility to version 1.5. Appearance Hopper allows one to tweak all sorts of features normally hidden. According to Weedhopper Press:

AppearanceHopper fills customization holes in the standard Mac OS 8.5, by giving you access to features that are not editable from the Appearance control panel. AppearanceHopper allows you to: set the font, size, and style of the System Fonts; access the "hidden" scroll bar options; set the style of alias names, and turn off the arrow badge on aliases; and modify the Application Switcher palette, all in one user-friendly control panel.

AppearanceHopper is $9 shareware available in English and French; after ten trials, you must register the software in order to continue using it. Mac OS 8.5 and AppleScript are required.
