Steve Jobs And Avie Tevanian To Address Developers Conference
Apple has officially announced that iCEO Steve Jobs and Avie Tevanian will officially kick off the Worldwide Developer's Conference. According to Apple:

At this year's Worldwide Developers Conference, Steve Jobs, Apple's interim CEO, and Avie Tevanian, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering, will give developers an overview of Apple's software "roadmap," including the first in-depth look at Mac® OS X, Apple's next-generation operating system.

The presentation will be held Monday, May 10, 1999, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. PDT at the San Jose Convention Center, Hall 2, 150 W. San Carlos St. (between Almaden and Woz Way).

The Mac Observer Spin: This year's WDC should be the best on in years. More developers and Apple's recent success should everyone in top spirits. Hopefully Mssrs. Jobs and Tevanian will take the opportunity to announce a new product or two.
