Desktop Switching Utility Updated
The good people at AuctionMac have released an updated version of their SnapTop utility bringing the desktop/application switcher to version 1.2. According to AuctionMac.

AuctionMac Software has released SnapTop v1.2, a new Mac utility program. SnapTop makes it easy for Mac users to boost productivity by giving them fast, easy ways to switch back and forth from the desktop. It performs three feats that Mac users desire to do every day... And it does them all by your command (using simple keystrokes) from within virtually any application.

SnapTop is a system extension that allows Mac users to easily switch directly to the desktop and hide all other open applications. And it does it all with a quick keystroke. When you have several apps open at once, it is increasingly annoying to have to switch and hide manually to get to items on your desktop. Now, you can easily do it all within seconds. SnapTop also has commands that show all open applications and a command that switches to the Finder and closes all open windows, allowing quick access to the heart of your desktop.

SnapTop v1.2 is a small utility, easily installed (it comes with an installer), and amazingly cheap. The demo software is available for download now! Registration is only US $8.99. The full version comes with extra perks... Such as your choice of keystrokes to activate the various commands (such as F-Keys)! SnapTop is try-before-you-buy shareware!

You can find more information and download links for SnapTop at the company's web site. The demo is free while the full version is priced at US$8.99.
