Two New Open Source Extensions To SuperCard Released
Three companies, IncWell DMG, Ltd, Fourth World and DevHQ, have announced the release of two new SuperCard extensions under an open source license. According to the three companies:

IncWell DMG, Ltd, Fourth World and DevHQ are pleased to announce the release of open source extensions to the SuperCard multimedia development system.

SuperCard allows designers to create multi-windowed, frames-based, standalone presentations, allowing easy creation of presentations with a look and feel like a compiled Macintosh OS application. SuperCard projects can also be displayed through Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator under the MacOS and Windows 95/98/NT using the SuperCard Plug-in.

WetWare II, available now, includes 28 powerful add-on extensions. These allows projects to display antialiased text with special effects, such as variable color, pattern and showing; control of gradient and picture backgrounds; creation and modification of QuickTime; and other graphical formats, communicating with CGI web applications and advanced styling and export control of text.

The latest addition is ListMaster 2.5.3, a powerful add-on which allows spreadsheet-like display of styled text and graphics within a list or grid. Using ListMaster, projects can display user editable text and graphics in a modern, drag and drop environment.

Both WetWare II and ListMaster 2.5.3 are released under the Fourth World Open Source Alliance. SuperCard is available in US English and Japanese, and is available internationally in Italy, UK, Ireland, Japan, Austria, Germany and Australia.
