SnapTop Updated (Again) With New Features
The good people at AuctionMac have released an update to SnapTop, bringing the utility to version 1.5 just 4 days after releasing version 1.2. the new version brings the ability to easily set your own key-commands and other features. According to AuctionMac:

AuctionMac Software has released SnapTop v1.5, a feature-improved version of the popular new utility. Based on user feedback (and the power of the shareware system schedule) we have packed new features and enhancements into this great Mac-only utility.

SnapTop is a system extension that enables users to quickly 'snap' to their desktop and hide all other open applications. SnapTop also provides a keystroke to snap back. And a newly enhanced keystroke snaps to the desktop, hides other applications, and closes all Finder windows (all at once). And the magic of SnapTop is that it does it all by your key command from virtually any application.

New to version 1.5 is the 'SnapTop Config' control application. This allows registered users to choose their own SnapTop key combinations, providing almost guaranteed compatibility with all software. And SnapTop v1.5 is faster than previous versions. And unlike most 'macro' utilities, SnapTop needs little CPU time (or RAM) at all to do the snap magic. Also new to this version is the demo default to easy F-Key configuration. But the price is the same!

You can find more information and download links at the company's web site. AuctionMac is providing a demo of the utility. The upgrade is free to owners of version 1.x while the full version is priced at US$8.99.
