Elsware, Ltd. today announced the release of version 1.5 of FinderKeeper, their desktop organization and window auto-positioning tool. According to Elsware:

FinderKeeper organizes your desktop by neatly stacking windows on-the-fly. Each disk on your Mac is given a starting point, and as you open windows they cascade down and to the right. The result is a neat and logically arranged desktop - all done automatically. New features include:

  • New control panel sets custom window offsets.
  • Fully compatible with Microsoft(r) products.
  • Tested on systems as old as 7.1.0.

"Although I've been pushing hard for more new features, we at Elsware believe that a rock-solid product is the most important goal. This version fulfills that requirement, and provides a foundation for future development." - Eric Korhonen, V. P. of Marketing.
