The eOne In Action In Japan (With Pics!)
Our good frien Frank Bernier, Gameing Hardware Editor of Inside Mac Games, was kind enough to send us these pics of the eOne in action in Japan. Seeing the machine outside the light of promotional pics, the likeness to the iMac becomes much more plain. MacInTouch is reporting that Apple was granted a patent for the iMac design, and we think more than ever that Apple has a good chance of winning their various lawsuits against both SOTEC and eMachines. According to Mr. Bernier:

As promised, here are a bunch of unedited pictures of the eOne I took this afternoon. I saw commercials of the eOne every hour here in Japan on TBS Sunday. The add lasts about 10 sec and you see the eOne floating on a black background. A camera also shows it from all sides. If I remember well, the only comment is "eOne the Internet PC, Debut". I tried to record the commercial with my Ixtv card but I missed it by 2 sec. (time to fire-up the app it was too late). I'll try to get it for you if I can this week.

As you can see on one of the pictures, it has Video In and 2 PCMCIA slots..nice features missing in the iMac..:/

If Apple does not win this case, it's because the lawyers were just amateurs :)

You can click on each thumbnail to get a close look at the image. Thanks to Mr. Bernier for sending these our way!
