VVI has updated the dynamic web graph creation application, OpenGraph, to version 5.2. The new version includes several new features. According to VVI:
OpenGraph(TM) is a framework for reporting data in graph, custom map, and textual formats and includes an interactive layout application and pre-built objects. OpenGraph accepts real-time data feeds from any source and serves as a graphing front-end for real-time financial analysis, transaction, production and inventory analysis, database systems, and instrumentation. OpenGraph is fully object-oriented and is well suited to systems which require reliability, exacting specifications and performance. OpenGraph runs on Windows® NT, Windows® 95, Mac® OS X Server and OpenStep/Mach operating systems and all compatible computers and is based on our turnkey foundation layer for displaying data without regard to operating system or windowing system type making it applicable to embedded systems uses as well.
The newest version of OpenGraph, version 5.2, is now available and shipping on the OpenGraph CD. Improvements include:
- The third generation of the OpenGraph Server for dynamic graphs and figures on the Web. You can begin making your own graphs right away at the VVI web site.
