Aurora Design has changed their name to Aurora Video Systems. The move was sparked by a desire to better reflect their core business, video editing solutions. According to Aurora Video Systems:
Aurora Design, the industry leader in affordable, high-end video processing equipment, has changed its name to Aurora Video Systems, in conjunction with the launch of its new web site.
Aurora's Mac-Only video cards (Igniter and Fuse ) have brought high-end video processing capabilities to the Macintosh user at extremely affordable prices. Their video cards are compatible with the latest G4 Systems, the Blue & White and Beige G3s, and are fully QuickTime MJPEG-A format compatible, supporting Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects, Apple's Final Cut Pro and Strata VideoShop.
"We've changed our name to reflect our ongoing commitment to our consumers," said Aurora CEO Darryl Hock. "We are dedicated to producing the highest quality video editing products exclusively for the Mac, and we will constantly improve and maintain our products so that our customers can have the most rewarding video editing experience possible."
