[2:30 PM] Apple Announces Jobs' MACWORLD Keynote QuickTime Streaming Broadcast

Apple has officially announced that the company will broadcast the MACWORLD Expo Keynote by Steve Jobs. The company has also fleshed out the rest of its MACWORLD plans. According to Apple:

Where: Moscone Convention Center, South Hall, Esplanade Ballroom

Downlink Freq: 12022 MHz
Polarity: Vertical down
Audio Subcarriers: 6.2 & 6.8

Galaxy 3/Transponder 15 C Band 8 a.m.-2 p.m. PST
Orbital slot: 95 degrees
Downlink Freq: 4000 MHz
Polarity: Horizontal down
Audio Subcarriers: 6.2 & 6.8

Apple will provide live streaming of the Macworld Expo keynote utilizing Apple's popular QuickTime 4, the industry-leading multimedia software for live and on-demand audio and video streaming. The live webcast will take place at 9 a.m. PST on Wednesday, January 5, and can be accessed through Apple's web site at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/showcase/live/mwsf00/. Viewers simply need to download a copy of QuickTime 4 from www.apple.com/quicktime to watch the event.

Pavilions
Apple will sponsor pavilions that showcase specific customer solutions, including: Education District, Consumer Showcase, Digital Media Studio, Small Business Solutions, Sci-Tech, Music and Audio, Developer Central and Net Innovators. The pavilions are located in the North Hall of the Moscone Convention Center.

Apple Booth
Apple's products and technologies will be featured at Apple's booth, #1217 in the South Hall, and throughout the show floor.

Apple Conference Participation
