by Staff

MacEase has announced the release of InfoManager. InfoManager does just what it sounds like it does, it helps you manage the information on your Mac, including Internet information. according to MacEase:

Here Is A List Of Only Some Of The Features Included In InfoManager:

  • InfoManager is capable of creating, storing, and organizing virtually an unlimited number of both folders and files, each of which can be created in advance or on the fly, as needed.
  • InfoManager can create notes, text files, and clipping files and allows users to easily edit their contents and transfer information between them AND BETWEEN VIRTUALLY ANY OTHER PROGRAM ON THEIR MACS.
  • InfoManager provides its own set of robust editing tools for both creating and modifying the contents of files, including clipping files.
  • InfoManager lets users directly transform the contents of the Clipboard into a text file without having to launch an application.
  • InfoManager allows users to work with the files created with virtually all text editors and word processors.
  • InfoManager eliminates many problems when printing from user's web browsers, such as getting blank pages or having the text cut off on the right edge of their documents.
  • InfoManager allows users to "grab" whatever snippet(s) of info they want from within a page or across multiple pages/web sites and save or print just this information rather than have to save or print an entire page.
  • InfoManager allows users to use a built-in Find feature to quickly locate any of the data they have saved.
  • InfoManager allows users (on the fly) to annotate the data they are saving and/or printing. This allows users to leave themselves notes about anything related to this information adjacent to the material to which it applies (no more asking themselves "why did I save this info?" or "why did I print this info?").
  • InfoManager allows users (on the fly) to time and date stamp the data they are saving and/or printing (useful when gathering time or date-sensitive material, and great for quickly and easily determining which is the most current version when acquiring multiple versions of data).
  • InfoManager allows users (on the fly) to index the data they are saving and/or printing (using this feature with InfoManager's Find feature facilitates quickly locating/organizing information users have saved).
  • *InfoManager allows users (on the fly) to group non-contiguous text selections from across or within multiple documents and/or web sites.
  • InfoManager automatically creates the StorageBoard file (think of it as an electronic blackboard) in a text format so it can be viewed, printed, or edited from any text editor or word processor (InfoManager's default viewer is SimpleText, which is already included with users' Macs).
  • InfoManager includes helpful self-diagnostics, Balloon Help, and built-in Tips.
  • InfoManager's Clipboard utility allows users to easily modify and/or move information between InfoManager's own files and/or virtually any other program.
  • InfoManager allows users to preserve the contents of their Clipboards between shutdowns, restarts, and even crashes.
  • InfoManager allows users to ADD AS MANY ITEMS AS THEY WANT TO THE CONTENTS OF THE CLIPBOARD.
  • InfoManager allows users to directly print the contents of the Clipboard.
  • InfoManager allows users to directly print the contents of their clipping files.
  • InfoManager allows users to easily edit the contents of their clipping files.
  • InfoManager allows users to have their Macs "speak" the contents of their files and selections, including the contents of the Clipboard.
  • InfoManager supports Drag and Drop.
  • InfoManager provides users with confirmation and alert notification sounds.
  • InfoManager's editing tools include a customizable glossary, a utility for instantly displaying and inserting the many useful "hidden" characters included with most fonts, a window navigation tool, a WYSIWYG font display, an Auto-Save utility, and much more.
  • InfoManager (with a single click) can be iconified on the user's Desktop (reduced to a small icon).
  • InfoManager's visibility can be toggled (turned on and off) with the user's own keyboard shortcut.
  • InfoManager can be moved to any location users choose on your Desktop.
  • And so much more!!!
