[3:30 PM] Netscape Releases Communicator 4.7.1, Direct Download Link Only by Staff Netscape has released an update to Communicator, bringing the browser to version 4.7.1. While the company has made a download link available, the site itself has not been updated with information on the new release. In fact, if you head to the Communicator home page, it will lead you to version 4.7. Better yet, the release notes send one to a (at this writing) nonexistent web page for information on changes in the new version. However, a quick trip to The Mac Observer's VersionMaster offers the following new features: "A new Shop toolbar button, bug fixes, and more." There is indeed a new shopping button in the toolbar, sure what every Mac user was looking for. This button takes you to a Netscape shopping page, of course.
