Study Aid For Ohio Students Released For The Mac
Photonics Graphics has released a product called OPTimum for Ohio Students. According to Photonics Graphics:

"OPTimum (the OPT stands for Ohio Proficiency Test) is a CD-ROM interactive practice test which helps students prepare by providing sample tests and questions in reading, writing, math, citizenship and science. Ohio students are required to pass the state-mandated, ninth-grade test before graduating from high school. Fourth and sixth grade tests, as well as off-grade Proficiency Tests, are given to assess student performance so that areas of weakness can be identified and addressed.

This year, OPTimum has added an updated version of the fourth-grade test, featuring all new questions and graphics, to their product line which also includes sixth and ninth-grade CD-ROM versions."

The product is being released on CD-ROM for the Mac and PC. Single copies are priced at US$24.95 with discounts available for volume purchases.
