Mitsubishi has introduced a 22" Flat Screen CRT monitor for the Mac called the DiamondPro 2020U. According to Mitsubishi:
"The new Diamond Pro 2020u has an ultra-fine .25 mm-center and a .27 mm edge, variable aperture grille pitch, 30-121 kHz horizontal scanning range, and 240 MHz video clock frequency. The maximum non-interlaced addressable resolution of 1800x1440 at a refresh rate of 80 Hz further adds to the professional nature of the unit. On-screen display (OSD) controls allow easy manipulation of over 20 separate settings, including brightness, contrast, positioning, geometry, purity and convergence."
In addition to being a flat screen monitor, the product has a built-in USB hub. The built-in hub includes two upstream and three downstream ports so two independent computers may share a single set of USB devices.
The new monitor is expected to retail for US$1499.
