Apple Stock Watch: Apple Regains Lost Ground, Up 1 Point
Apple regained the point it lost in trading yesterday. Apple closed at 46 5/16, up 1 or 2.21%. Volume was light with 1,104,300 shares trading hands.

Apple's PC competitors had mixed results with Compaq and Hewlett-Packard both closed down today while IBM, Gateway 2000, and Dell all closed up.

The Dow and the Nasdaq closed today with the 5th consecutive day of positive results. The Dow closed at 11139.24, up 72.82. The Nasdaq closed at 2741.02, a gain of 34.84.

The Mac Observer Spin: News of Apple's lawsuit continues to be popular fare with mainstream news services, but it seems to have lost whatever negative hold it may have had on Wall Street.
