Celebrate the 4th with a Bang! -- From Clixsounds
As usual, the folks at Clixsounds are at it again! Continuing with their holiday spirit, they released two freeware sounds for the 4th Of July Holiday. According to Clixsounds:

Intro your Mac with a collage of fizzes, bangs, whistles, and explosions with the new "Independence StartUp Sound!" This festive sound file is a high-quality mix of fireworks launching and exploding in finale fashion, complete with missiles, chasers, crackers, and full-bass loads.

Be notified of errors with the "Whistler" alert sound, a stereo recording of a "chaser" firework that whistles loudly as it flies off into the distance.

Download the sound from the Clixsounds web site. When you arrive at their site, click on the "Sounds" button on the left.
