| Team Mac Observer continues to rocket up the SETI@home Top 100 Club Teams to number 43, a gain of 7 spots over yesterday's entry into the Top 50! Wooooohoooooo!! We are also approaching a landmark membership with 194 members. We will hopefully pass the 200 mark sometime today. You can help by joining! Our combined membership has processed 2,692 work units with a total of over 55,294 hours or 6 Years of processor time! 6 years! Truly amazing.
We have also had two more companies join Team Mac Observer. Everyone give fellow Mac web site Applelinks and software company Power On Software to the Team! Client Update:
The SETI@home Technical News page says that a new version of the Mac SETI@home client should be available soon. With the speed increases we have seen with the just pulled version 1.05, we encourage everyone to watch for this update to be posted. If you see it, send a note letting us know so we can post it.
Tips:
Lastly, we are working on a Tips section to help Team members get the highest performance possible. There has been a lot of interest from many people asking about this, so send your Tips to us. This includes Windows, Unix, and MacOS X Server Tips as well as many Team Members are using every computer they have available to them. We hope to have the Tips section up on Monday.
