American Pie Movie Chooses Apple For It's Computer Filling
Long time Observer Joshua Biggs saw American Pie this weekend and reported the fact that Apple had more than one showing in the comedy flick. According to Mr. Biggs.

I saw the movie American Pie last night and I was happy to see that all the computers in the movie, 6 in all, were Power Mac G3s! Of course they were beige but that will be changing. I must say my favorite part of the movie was when the main character played by Jason Biggs, is sitting in front of a monitor in which you can plainly read COLOR SYNC and see our favorite fruit logo.

Thanks for the report Josh, hope you enjoyed the movie!

The Mac Observer Spin: American Pie was the number one movie for the weekend, displacing even Will Smith and The Wild Wild West, so lots of eyeballs saw the Apple logo. That's always a good thing! If only they had used iMacs and Blue & Whites, but we're not complaining! :-)
