MechWarrior 3 Coming To The Mac
Lincoln Dunn, the leader behind a petition drive to get MechWarrior 3 to the Mac, has succeeded in that effort. Mr. Dunn says the official announcement by Hasbro Interactive will be made at MacWorld. According to Mr. Dunn:

I have been notified by HasbroInteractive that MechWarrior 3, published by Microprose, will be coming to the Mac, and that the announcement will be made at MacWorld.

Hasbro and I have been in contact since I started a petition for bringing MW3 to the Mac in May. You can see it at: http://www.dunncomm.com/mw3/petition.html

Kind regards,

Lincoln

That's great! Make sure that you turn out and buy MechWarrior once it hits the shelves!

The Mac Observer Spin: The MechWarrior series has been remarkably successful on the PC side and has a huge hard-core fan base. Bringing this title to the Mac is a big victory for Mac gamers. However, Hasbro needs to realize a good profit to make sure they continue to bring more titles to the Mac so this means that fans need to buy, and register, the game once released. Profits speak mightily to publishers. :-)

A big Mac Observer congrats to Mr. Dunn!
