AuctionMac.com, the leading (and possibly the only) Mac-only internet auction site has just initiated the AuctionMac Bid-n-Buy system. The AuctionMac Bid-n-Buy system provides special-service auctions to any interested seller.
The AuctionMac Bid-n-Buy service has the functionality of an auction and the Mac-friendly interface of AuctionMac... Yet the new service offers features for customers that need quick-sale or set-price auctioning. Auctions open at the seller's price and close at the moment a bidder 'purchases' their item. The two are then contacted immediately so they can negotiate the details. But the service is hardly a 'classifieds' cover-up. By user request, we added the service as an option to those special-need sellers.
The service offers the quality, safety, privacy, and environment of standard AuctionMac auctions. Bidders can rest easy knowing that if an item is shown, it is still available (unlike on classified services). And low-pricing is encouraged by tiered selling fees. And these AuctionMac Bid-n-Buy items are searchable in all the normal forms, just like regular auctions.
This new service is simply another feature that makes AuctionMac.com unique and practical to the Macintosh community. In combination with standard auctions, AuctionMac.com can handle all of your Macintosh buying and selling needs.
Because of these new features, AuctionMac.com is extending the 'Half-Price Days' to August 9, 1999. All selling fees (including those in all new services) are halved!
AuctionMac.com is a great place to buy or sell Mac stuff so head over and check it out!
