Menuette Updated With Animated Icons, MacOS 8.6 Compatibility, More
Tiger Technologies has announced an update to Menuette, bringing the appearance utility to version 3.0. Menuette allows the user to replace menu labels with icons (a boon to those with more menus than space), offers WYSIWYG font menus, and allows the user to change the font for pulldown menus. The update offers increased compatibility and other features. According to Tiger Technologies:

Tiger Technologies has just released version 3.0 of Menuette.

Menuette is a Macintosh shareware program that replaces menu titles with colorful icons. It also allows users to change the font of menu items.

Menuette 3 has been completely rewritten for compatibility with the latest versions of the Mac OS, including Mac OS 8.6. In addition, it adds animated icons, WYSIWYG font menus, the ability to change the size of the menu item font, and more.

A previous version of Menuette was awarded a perfect five-mouse score by ZDNet, and we think this one is even better.

The update is free to registered users while the full version is priced at US$19.95. You can find more information at the company's web site.
