TechWorks Announces New Candy Colored USB Hubs
Former Mac Voodoo 3D accelerator manufacturer TechWorks has announced a new Mac product. The company is shipping candy colored Mac USB 4-port hubs aimed at the iMac crowd called The POWERUSB 4-Port Hub. According to TechWorks

Apple Premier Developer TechWorks, the supplier of the best Mac enhancement products for over ten years, just raised the level of iMac enjoyment. TechWorks presents the flavored POWERUSB 4-Port Hub.

The POWERUSB Hub extends your Mac experience through matching the color of your existing flavored iMac. No more beige, black, or off color, out of place boxes that you have to hide behind your iMac. Have a Blueberry POWERUSB with your Blueberry iMac. Show off your Lime POWERUSB snuggled next to your Lime iMac. Some people may want a Tangerine with their Strawberry! You get the picture! Your iMac doesn't have to be alone anymore.

The POWERUSB 4-Port Hub provides four downstream serial ports and one upstream serial port. Each of the downstream ports has an activity LED and separate over-current detection and protection. The Hub is a dual speed device that supports full speed (12Mbit per second) and low speed (1.5Mbit per second). In addition, the Hub supports self-power and bus-power modes. Each port supplies up to 500mAmps of current. The POWERUSB is engineered to the interface standard of USB V1.0. All five flavors are available (and Blueberry also complements the G3 Blue/White Minitower's mouse and keyboard).

The POWERUSB Hub comes with one power adapter and one USB to upstream port cable (1 meter long). The Hub complies with the limits of Class B (residential) digital devices, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules.

The POWERUSB 4-Port Hub is priced at US$59.99. You can find more information at the company's web site.
