Insider Software has released an update to FontAgent that brings the font management software to version 2.7.5. According to Insider Software:
FontAgent 2.7.5 boasts improved compatibility with a wider range of computers and font libraries; a new, user-friendly installer; and an improved interface with new graphics and enhanced Internet links. The update also incorporates several bug fixes including superior memory management, compatibility with nonstandard volume names, and improved handling of font repair options.
The new release is free to all licensed users of FontAgent and the product formerly known as Font Box. Users can download FontAgent and analyze their font collections for free. To enable FontAgent to repair and reorganize their fonts, users must purchase a full license. FontAgent Standard Edition, priced at $69.95, manages the fonts on a single Macintosh. FontAgent Network Edition, priced at $159.95, analyzes and synchronizes all the fonts in a Macintosh workgroup. FontAgent Limited Edition, priced at $29.95, analyzes 250 fonts on a single hard drive.
