James Cameron of Matador Design dropped us a note to ask that we announce an upcoming Mac port of WebEvent 3.1 Beta. WebEvent provides web based scheduling and calendar functions. According to Mr. Cameron:

We have not yet sent out a press release, but we would like to ask you to announce the release of WebEvent 3.1 BETA. This is the first Macintosh version of our popular Web calendar and scheduling application which has been available for UNIX and Windows NT servers for over a year now. Our customer list includes NASA, AT&T, Intel, Hewlett Packard, FedEx, Lucent Technologies, Harvard, and Yale.

We ask that you let the Macintosh community know about a new option for web-based calendaring on Mac web servers running MacOS 8 and WebTen. We are also offering a 50% discount to customers who purchase a copy of WebEvent before March 31, 1999. Although that has not been officially announced yet, we will be including that in our press release. We are also working on a MacOS X version that will be available in April that won't require WebTen.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
